ELYSIAN announce Australian East Coast Tour

Monday 23rd April, 2012

Australia's powerful melodic death metallers ELYSIAN, have announced they are set to hit the road on a six date tour across the east coast of Australia during May & June. The band will kick off their tour in style from their home town of Melbourne on May 1st supporting Arch Enemy.

ELYSIAN recently released their crushing debut album, “Wires of Creation”, eleven tracks of hook laden, flowing dark melodies, technical solo interludes and snarlingly evil vocal work, to worldwide critical acclaim.

Guitarist Gabe Hutchinson comments: "We've been blown away by all of the positive reviews of our debut album, so we're now eager to get out and tour it. Live performances have always been the essence of Elysian, bringing an added dimension to our music. We'll be kicking off the tour supporting Arch Enemy in our home town Melbourne in May.

REVIEWS FOR 'WIRES OF CREATION'

"Great song writing, excellent musical talent and the capacity to be progressive and shift things up is the scale in which we judge our legends, and these guys pass all three with flying colors." The New Review

"The Australian music scene is becoming one to watch at the moment and it would be hard to talk about the bands from down under without having Elysian in the first sentence." - Rock and Reel Review

"This album is alive and you can feel it. It transcends the organic production and progressive song structure and instead opts to breathe and live on its own merits." - Heavy Blog is Heavy

"Elysian are an Australian metal band with no label backing, and this is their full-length release… how the hell are they THIS good?" - Daily Dischord
